Seiki is now an integral part of the business, touching many different people and departments. It helps the team to measure productivity and make things happen - keeping the spindles turning... The support engineers at Seiki are very knowledgeable and have always been able to advise us on products, configuration and maintenance issues. All in all, we as a business are very pleased with the Seiki system and could not imagine running the production shops without this system... We started in 1992 specialising in Direct Numerical Control (DNC) software for Hitachi Seiki UK's machine tools but, in response to demand from the market, we developed support for machine tools of all makes and models. Now customers were able to have a single NC Program transfer solution for all their machines. Having developed the methods for connecting to any machine, it was a natural next step for us to start collecting status event data, so companies could truly understand the actual utilisation performance..
