Ben Gurney is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon based at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Frimley Park Hospital and Nuffield Health Guildford.
He is dually qualified in Medicine and Dentistry, and is on the General Medical Council specialist list for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During his early surgical training, he completed posts in units across the UK: in Edinburgh, Teeside, Sunderland, London and the South East of England.
His specialist training was completed at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford and Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. Following specialist training, he completed an Orthognathic (Jaw Surgery) and Facial Trauma fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia.
Ben has wide interests in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including dental implantology.

Mr Nick Lewis qualified with Honours at Newcastle University and undertook junior hospital posts at Newcastle Dental Hospital within the departments of Restorative Dentistry and Maxillofacial surgery. He moved to London in 2003 and undertook further maxillofacial training at UCLH and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
He commenced higher specialist training at the Eastman Dental Hospital in Restorative Dentistry in 2004, including completion of a Masters in Conservative Dentistry in 2007. He completed his specialty fellowship in Restorative Dentistry in 2008 and was appointed as a Consultant at the Eastman/ UCLH in 2009. He was clinical lead in Prosthodontics at the Eastman from 2010-2014.
His main clinical interests are centred on the placement and restoration of dental implants and the dental management of head and neck oncology patients. Mr Lewis is currently the Course Director for the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (FGDP) Diploma in Restorative Dentistry and is a Regional Dental Advisor for RCS Edinburgh. He also currently sits on the Health & Science Advisory Committee of the British Dental Association. Mr Lewis is based as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford and also maintains a private practice with his wife Jane Lewis.

Jonathan graduated from King's College London in 2007 and spent a year in general dental practice before joining the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in 2008.
He continues to work there for part of the week as a Specialty Doctor as well as in general dental practice with a particular interest in Oral Surgery and Dental Implants.
He started his training in implant dentistry in 2011 and has recently completed the taught element of the FGDP Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons.

Mark graduated from Kings College School of Medicine & Dentistry in 1980. He remained there to commence his postgraduate training before entering General practice.
In 1989 he returned to Kings as a part-time clinical demonstrator for the undergraduate teaching programme. Mark is in Private practice and has a special interest in the challenges of cosmetic reconstruction of the dentition.
Mark first became involved with the prosthetic reconstruction of dental implants in 2000, and joined the Surrey Implant Services Team in 2007.

Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon Paul Johnson graduated in Dentistry with honours at the University of Leeds and subsequently in Medicine at the University of Cambridge. He completed his higher specialist training at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead And Kings College Hospital, London.
Paul has worked since 1992 as a consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford. His wide ranging interests include facial plastic surgery, orthognathic surgery and dental implantology. He has been awarded the 2018 Down Surgical Prize by the British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. This is the highest honour that the Association can bestow on a surgeon and is made ‘In recognition of the significant contribution made to the speciality of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.'
He is a founder member and director of Surrey Implant Services, based at the Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital, and has over 25 years dental implant experience.
