The story starts with carefully selected ingredients: the cross of Gala and Braeburn, the perfect soil, the optimum growing climate and - above all- a grower who exceeds in passion for his orchard. The grower has to wait up to 2 years before the first apples can be harvested. It takes 6 years before a tree is in full productivity. The trees are planted and pruned in such way, so that all trees catch optimum sun light and nutrition from the soil... In wintertime the trees are ‘at rest' after a long and intense period of productivity. It seems as if nothing happens at the orchard, but look closely and you will see… The grower is preparing his trees with the utmost care for the upcoming season: he cuts the trees to give them the right shape and vitality to reach optimum production in the next year.
